St. John's is an emergent Christian community and Petaluma's parish of the Episcopal Church, established in 1856.  Our schedule of services and events, and announcements about special programs are on this home page.

We are rooted in the the authority of the scriptures, the ancient teachings of the church, and a historic body, the Anglican Communion, that connects us with brothers and sisters throughout the world.  At the same time, we are on a journey of discovery as we follow the living Spirit through an era of uncertainty and epochal change.  We welcome individuals and families of diverse faith backgrounds, ages, interests, and experiences, and honor personal freedom and responsibility, and the divine image in everyone.
