COTS Lenten Service Project

“... for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,

... I was naked and you gave me clothing.”                                                         Matthew 25:35-36

Our homeless brothers and sisters in Sonoma County are in great need of basic warm, clothing, rain gear and blankets. Families and individuals at COTS shelters are in need of masks to prevent flu and Covid, OTC medication, showering and grooming supplies. We at St. John’s want to help provide some comfort and relief by collecting and providing these basic needed items to local shelters.

Please consider our brothers and sisters who live on the streets and in local shelters who are in need by donating the following needed items:

●      Rain gear: Ponchos and umbrellas

●      Gift Cards: Payless Shoes, Great Clips (Haircuts)

●      Clothes: New Men’s and Women’s underwear & T-shirts all sizes.

●      Grooming/Bathing: Bath towels, disposable razors, travel toiletry kits, travel-size shampoo, soap, etc.

●      Travel packets: Ibuprofen/Tylenol

●      NyQuil/Dayquil

●      New twin blankets

●      COTS Amazon Wish List: Amazon Wishlist

Donations will be collected at St. John’s on the Sundays in Lent until March 29 (Palm Sunday),  at the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services.
