St.John's “Rally for Rice" Continues!

Many thanks to St. John’s members and friends for generously giving to the Redwood Empire Food Bank May “Rally for Rice”

Together, we helped the food bank by donating 300 pounds (265 bags) of rice towards the food bank’s goal of 15,000 bags of rice to help nourish our neighbors in need!

The Redwood Empire Food Bank says that rice is especially good to donate because it's affordable, nutritious, shelf-stable, and versatile-and a staple in many cultures and diets.

Fr. Merrit challenged us to donate 1,000 pounds of rice- and so the “Rally for Rice” continues!

Bring smaller bags of rice (1-5 pounds each) and place them in one of the

"Rally for Rice" bins and baskets in the church or in Cram Hall. 🙏
