Becoming Beloved Community

“As the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, we dream and work to foster Beloved Communities where all people may experience dignity and abundant life and see themselves and others as beloved children of God. The Becoming Beloved Community Vision Document and accompanying resources help us to understand and take up the long-term commitments necessary to form loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with each other. Together, we are growing as reconcilers, justice-makers, and healers in the name of Christ.”

Deacon Laurie from St. John’s, along with three other local Episcopal churches: St. Stephen’s in Sebastopol, Church of the Incarnation in Santa Rosa, and St. Patrick’s in Kenwood are learning, praying, and acting together as members of a larger faith community... in becoming God's Beloved Community.

We will offer opportunities to learn, pray and act together, along with Episcopalians across the country interested in Becoming Beloved Community-supporting one another in living into our baptismal promises through better understanding and caring for one another and our communities; anti-racism; Care of Creation; and other areas of reconciliation.
