Interfaith Food Pantry

All Are Welcome!

Free bags of groceries are provided to low-income families and individuals in Petaluma, through Petaluma Interfaith Pantry, which operates every Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. No paperwork needed. We serve all in need.

  • Thursday Evening Interfaith Pantry: opens at 5:00pm at the Elim Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at 504 Baker Street.  For more information, please call 762-4081.

  • If you would like to be part of the team of volunteers that help, please contact the church office to get on the reminder list. Or just show up at 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays. 

  • We have a good supply of paper bags at the moment, thank you!

Here's the schedule on Thursdays

  • Set-up:  4:30—5:00 p.m.

  • Distribution:  5:00—5:30 p.m.

  • Clean-up:  5:30—6:00 p.m.


Did you know? We buy our food from the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Here are some facts:

  • Last year, Redwood Empire Food Bank and partners provided food for a total of 24 million meals, with a retail value of over $59 million, to neighbors struggling with hunger.

  • The Petaluma Westside Food Pantry is part of the Redwood Empire Food Bank Network of 150 non-profit and faith-based organizations.
